Mrs. Weddle was born Lonora B. Jones on July 11, 1922. Over forty years she worked as a file clerk with Montgomery Wards in Kansas City, MO, as a secretary with various elctrical and hardware companies in Missouri and as an office manager for Dr. George W. Osgood in Kansas City, KS, retiring in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Virgel Weddle in 1978, and a daughter, Scarlett Ann Weddle, in 1942.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Huff and husband Bob of Salina; a sister, Patricia Booth of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Nathan Swanson of Salina, Virgel Swanson of Edwardsville, Laura Swanson of Wichita and Shara Mulryn of Haysville; and six great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Forrest Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
