Mrs. Wood was born Aprill 22, 1912 to Benjamin Aldaffer and Rose Thompson in Salina. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Wood, September 12, 1972, and one daughter, Norma Elam, October 25, 2001.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Oldham of Morton, IL, four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A private family interment will be held on Saturday, Febbruary 14, 2004 in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Salina.

There will be no public visitation.
