Mrs. Armbrust was born Stella Ruth Lorenz on Dec. 17, 1917, in rural Ellsworth County. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dell, in 2004.

Survivors include a son, Delbert Armbrust and wife Patsy of Brookville; a daughter, Leanna Ruth Harris and husband Olen of Stella, Mo.; a brother, Fred Lorenz of Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Louise Armbrust and Pauline Lorenz, both of Brookville; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Prairie Mound Cemetery, rural Ellsworth.

Memorials may be made to Carneiro Methodist Church.

There will be no visitation.
