Mrs. Arthur was born Gloria A. Hopp on February 13, 1933, at Salina. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley, of the home; a son, Eugene of Salina; two daughters, Andrea Allen of Arkansas City and Ione Gargis of Salina; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Belmont Boulevard Nazarene Church, 2632 Highland, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church.
