Mr. Augustine was born July 14, 1955, in Salina. He owned and operated the Augustine Furniture Warehouse near Bavaria, where he worked since 1975. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Rural Water District No. 4 and the board of the Ell-Saline Cardinals Foundation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Cathedral. He married Carol Laas on Sept. 13, 1975, at St. Mary’s Church, Salina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Augustine, in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, of Salina; two sons, Craig and wife Melissa and Jason and wife Jami, all of Salina; a daughter, Cynthia Augustine of Kansas City, Mo.; his mother, Almita Augustine of Salina; a brother, Mark of Salina; a sister, Donna Augustine Shaw of Mulvane; and two grandchildren, Alexys Augustine and Drake Augustine.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Bavaria Cemetery.

A prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
