Mrs. Barr was born Virginia E. Ringquist on July 20, 1924, in Salina. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey C. Barr Jr., in 1984; and a brother, Dale Ringquist.

Survivors include a son, Dewey C. Barr III and wife Valerie of Salina; a daughter, Alice Jo Campbell of Minneapolis; a brother, Dean Ringquist and wife Alice of Lindsborg; a sister, Lucille Gaskin and husband Fred of Chesterfield, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Bobby Quinn of Maxwell, Texas, Brenda Fraser of Minneapolis, Darla Barr, Sabrina Harp and Terri Hudson, all of Salina, Jack Barr of Maumelle, Ark., and Angela Burch of Fort Campbell, Ky.; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
