Mr. Blatcher was born May 5, 1946 at Kansas City, MO. He owned and operated his own trucking company, B&B Leasing.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; a son, Robert Blatcher of Overland Park; three daughters, Amanda Blatcher and Kristen Blatcher of Salina and Carol Gorges of Wichita; a brother, George Blatcher of Lakewood, CO; a sister, Mary Goheen of Topeka and five grandchildren, Shauna McKee-Blatcher, Dustyn McKee, Rebecca Gorges, Michael Gorges and Kelsie Blatcher.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
