Mrs. Brandt was born Alice A. Schaller on June 1, 1922 at Jamestown, N.D. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. Brandt in 2003; a sister, Mary Anderson in 1993; and a son-in-law, Mike Walts in 2004.

Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Metzler of La Centre, WA; Linda Davis and husband John of Salina; Kathleen Brown and husband Jeff of Pinedale, WY, and Mary Walts of Great Bend; one brother, Joe Schaller of Jamestown, ND; eight grandchildren, David Metzler, Karen Tyne, Christine Simpkins, Jason Davis, Sara Davis, Shawn Davis, Nathan Walts, Taylor Walts and Courtney Walts; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Fr. Frank Coady officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
