Mr. Breer was born June 30, 1908, at Salina. He was a self-employed carpenter and contractor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, in 2001; and a son, Gilbert J., in 1987.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Tremblay and husband Ron of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil and rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
