Mrs. Burt was born Georgia Jean Pierson on Feb. 18, 1940, in Pratt. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Burt of Bennington; two sons, Todd Burt of Bennington and Michael Burt of Tescott; three daughters, Carol Fallace of Wichita, and Judy Roth and Janet Fesler, both of Hutchinson; two brothers, Darwin L. Thomas of Hutchinson and Johnny L. Thomas of Denver, CO; two sisters, Diana L. Schmidt and Debra L. Thomas, both of Boonville, Ark.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Poheta Cemetery, east of Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Georgia Burt Memorial Fund, in care of the mortuary.
