Miss Carroll was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Salina. She was a graduate of the College of Emporia. She co-owned Carroll’s Bookstore in Salina and also taught school in Liberal for 15 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles H. and Ardena Carroll.

Survivors include her brother, Chuck Carroll and wife Liz of Salina; a niece, Jennifer Brown and husband Beven of Kansas City, Mo.; a nephew, Nick Carroll and wife Angie of Kansas City, Kan.; and a great-niece, Megan Carroll.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, the Rev. Tom Reid officiating. Private graveside services will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
