Clifford M. Daws, 86, Salina, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005. Mr. Daws was born on January 9, 1919 at Randolph, NE. He worked as a custodian for USD #305 until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve M. Daws of the home; a son, Terry Daws of Salina; three daughters, Ellen Deegan of Milford, Mae Behrendt of Wichita, and Karen Thayer of Quincy, WA; two brothers, Fr. Dominic Daws of Shoshone, ID and Willard Daws of Fairmont, NE; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials are suggested to the Salina Animal Shelter. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. |
