Mrs. Dorman was born Katherine A. Riedel on Aug. 13, 1923, in Collyer. She was a homemaker and worked as a cook for the Plantation Restaurant and the Sportsman Club of Salina.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Romauld J. Bieker, in 1967; her second husband, Leroy Dorman, in 1975; and a son, Richard Bieker, in 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Michael of Salina; two sisters, Helen Lewis of Salina and Georgine Lence of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, and prior to the service at the church.
