Mrs. Emery was born Carol Love on January 30, 1935, in Bellefonte, Pa. She was a real estate broker.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Harold A. Emery, of the home; a son, James Rosenhoover of Wichita; two daughters, Lynn Schwartzman of Swampscott, Mass., and Diane Miller of Grantville, Pa.; three stepsons, Harold A. Emery III of Lancaster, Pa., Paul Emery of Ellsworth and Mark Emery of Jacksonville, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Ruth Ann Posner of Oakdale, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 639 Max, Salina.
