Mrs. Endsley was born Joyce Lorraine Layland on May 6, 1922, in Otego. She was a homemaker, avid bowler and a longtime employee of Mars Restaurant as a waitress, hostess and cashier.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and an infant daughter.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Endsley and Mary Endsley, both of Salina; four sons, Richard, Dean, Frank and Michael and wife Vicki, all of Salina; a brother, Paul Layland of Colby; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or Kansas Cares.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
