Mr. Farrar was born Aug. 7, 1945, in Bay City, Mich. He was a parts clerk for Graves Truck Line and Central Detroit Diesel-Allison, both in Salina.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha M., of Lindsborg; a son, Andrew L. of Lindsborg; a daughter, Sarai M. Walsh of Salina; his mother, Frieda L. Farrar of Salina; and a brother, Steve of Salina.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
