Mr. Farrar was born June 9, 1978, at Salina. He graduated from Salina Central High School in 1999. He had worked for OCCK in Salina for several years. He also had performed volunteer work for Salina area nursing homes for many years. He was a member of the Saline County Association of Retarded Citizens and the Blue Thunder.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Ellen Ann Farrar of Salina; a sister, Kristin Tope and husband Dan of Columbus, Ohio; and his grandmothers, Alfrieda Gilbert and Frieda Farrar, both of Salina.

A celebration of life and Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, 1000 Burr Oak Lane, Salina. Burial will be in the All Saints Catholic Cemetery, East Crawford, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
