Mr. Fechter was born Peter Allen Fechter on April 10, 1984, in Mobile, Ala. He worked at Salina Country Club Pro Shop.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Fechter (Callahan).

Survivors include his father, Donald, of Salina; a stepsister, Jeanie Sharp of Ohio; his grandparents, Harold and Blanche Fechter of Clovis, N.M.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church.

There will be no viewing. The body was cremated.
