Ms. Foster was born Linda Carol Brand on June 21, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. She was an administrative assistant for Ratheon.

Survivors include a son, Jeremy Jones of Overland Park; a sister, Glenda Mummert of Salina; her mother, Leona P. Brand; and a grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Maple Hill Funeral Home, 3300 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, KS 66106.
