Mrs. Fowler was born Mildred Stackley on July 1, 1927, in El Dorado. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Dean.

Survivors include her husband, Charles K., of the home; four sons, Steaven, Jim, David and Phillip; a daughter, Patty Thayer; two sisters, Rosemary Jones and Ruby Norris; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
