Norman M. Gault

Norman M. Gault, 89, Salina, died Monday, May 2, 2005.

Mr. Gault was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Marysville, Pa. He was a senior designer for Campbell Soup Co. He was a member of University United Methodist Church and United Methodist Men. He served as a captain with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a collector of clocks.

He married Mildred E. Watson on Dec. 20, 1941, in Camden, N.J. She died in 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Sara M. Gault of Salina; two sisters-in-law, Sara Huber and husband Harry and Dorothy Ridgway, all of Salina; a granddaughter, Mollie Roberts of Salina; a great-grandson, Gage Roberts of Salina; and four nieces.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. David Bolz officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church or Salina Education Foundation.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
