Mrs. Goppert was born V. Arlene Finch on June 8, 1927, in Gove County. She was a waitress and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darla Sharp.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy, of Assaria; three sons, Henry Leon Jones and wife Mariylu of Marion, Terry Lee Jones of McPherson and Larry Goppert of Belleville; five daughters, Pam Keller of Topeka, Donna Lenz of Salina, Darlene Crispell and husband Russell of Amherst, N. Y., Deanna Whitlock of St. Joseph, Mo., and Ruth Pfizenmaier of Miltonvale; a brother, Chancy Finch of Garden City; a sister, Twila Patterson of Oakley; 15 grandchildren, Tamera Jones, Laurel Lenz, Ph.D., Tonya Jones, Danielle Smedley, Douglas Jones, Charles J.H. Keller, Thomas Jones, Whitney Arlene Crispell, Emily Jones, Joshua Crispell, Melissa Fahey, Brian Ringquest, Jessica Johnson, LeRoy Goppert and Carly Goppert; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene, 1425 S. Ohio, Salina, with the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Belleville City Cemetery.
