Mr. Guth was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Kernsville, Pa. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include four sons, Charles A. of California, Scott S. of Oregon, Clyde R. of California and Billie McDonald of Kansas; a stepson, David L. Duryee of Kansas; a daughter, Luana A. McDonald of Kansas; two brothers, Harold and Richard; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the DAV or AMVETS.

There will be no visitation.
