Mrs. Hartley was born Alice Battersby Sept. 8, 1908 in rural Saline Co. During her years in Kansas she was a homemaker, and managed the café in Brookville and the Ellsworth Country Club.

She was married to Arthur D. Wilson. They had four daughters, Mary Alice Jolley, Marion, Ks., Barbara Debold, Stanfeld, Az., Jane Rogge, Salina, Ks., and Emma Lou Day, Brea, Ca.

She married Harold Hartley in 1945, who preceded her in death in 1974.

Survivors include her 4 daughters, 16 grandchildren, 31great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
