Mrs. Hayslett was born Dorothy Jean Burr on March 19, 1925, in Howland Spring, Ohio. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Hayslett.

Survivors include a son, Bradley J. Hayslett Sr. of Dunellan, Fla.; two daughters, Linda “Lou” Spencer and Susan Staley, both of Lindsborg; a brother, Arthur Burr of Cortland, Ohio; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethany Home, Lindsborg, where the family will receive friends following the service.
