Mrs. Hirst was born Ramona Salkeld on Oct. 29, 1909, in Manhattan. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Salina, and Sunflower Lioness Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in 1994.

Survivors include a son, Kent of Salina; and a sister, Ruth Chilcott of Salina.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
