Mrs. Holt was born Ruth Edith Armbruster on Dec. 14, 1914, in rural Saline County. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton, in 1991; and a grandson.

Survivors include two sons, James of Salina and Tom of Gypsum; a sister, Myrtle Hagg of Lindsborg; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Gypsum. Burial will be in Gypsum City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Gypsum; First Covenant Church, Salina; or a charity of the donor's choice.
