Mr. Humphreys was born July 10, 1941, in Newton, Iowa. He was a forklift operator at Exide.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue; and a son, Walter Austin.

Survivors include two daughters, Roberta S. Humphreys of Topeka and Peggy J. Tersiner of Salina; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
