Mr. Karber was born Aug. 3, 1912, at Gypsum. He was a farmer and stockman in the Gypsum area.

Survivors include a son, Michael L. Karber and wife Karen of Gypsum; a daughter, Elaine Karber of Gypsum; and a granddaughter, Kayla Karber and her fiance Andy Wharton of Wylie, Texas.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Gypsum. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

A vigil and rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
