Mr. Loux was born April 7, 1916, in Homewood. He was the owner and operator of Loux Home Improvement, Salina.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Wilke of Topeka; two sons, Melvin of Olathe and Philip of Cleveland, Ga.; a sister, Mildred Fischer of Camp Verde, Ariz.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
