Mrs. McCall was born Alice Evelyn Merrill on Dec. 15, 1926, in Kanopolis, the daughter of Lindon and Lila Merrill. She was employed at Beech Aircraft and farmed with her husband. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Salina and American Legion Women’s Auxiliary of Ellsworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1988; and a daughter, Julia McCall, in 1953.

Survivors include two daughters, Lourena Korinek and husband Frank and Gloria McCall, all of Salina; a son, Lindon E. and wife Deidra of Andover; two sisters, Blanche Mize of Great Bend and Madeline Tipton of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Ryan Korinek, Nicole Hopkins, Kristy McCall, Jessica Allen, Earl McCall, Ashley Allen and Jordan Malsom; and six great-grandchildren, Ian, Jacob, Isaac, Faythe, Chance and Coleson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Troy Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Carneiro Cemetery.
