Mrs. Normington was born Rhea V. Hagedorn on Nov. 9, 1911, in Milwaukee. She was a retired nurse who graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing in 1932.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Victor Normington, in 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Nothern and husband Roland of Glasco; a son, Richard Normington and wife Barbara of Sunshine, Australia; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Glasco. Inurnment will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan.
