Mr. Nordboe was born October 26, 1914, in Glendale. He was a farmer and construction carpenter and homebuilder. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, having served in Alaska and the Aleutian Islands.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto D. Nordboe and the former Lydia Eckhart; two brothers, Lloyd and Don; and a sister, Bernice Nordboe.

Survivors include his wife, Norma of Salina; and a brother, Ken Nordboe and wife Ann of Salina.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
