Mr. Pierce was born May 27, 1945, in Wichita. He was a machinist and worked on restoring old airplanes.

Survivors include his wife, Becky, of Lebanon; a son, Matt of Coffeyville; two daughters, Addiel Norris of Norwich and Anita Hicks of Lebanon; his mother, Dorothy Pierce of Wichita; his stepmother, Mildred Pierce of Haysville; five sisters, Linda Ivey of Wichita, Sue Westervelt of Montrose, Colo., Rayma Rowland of Norwich, Mary Lou Collier of Coffeyville and Patsie Shoemaker of Haysville; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Olliff-Boeve Simmons Chapel, 116 W. First, Smith Center 66967.
