Mrs. Redding was born LaDonna Marie Weis on Oct. 15, 1937, in Culver. She was the controller for Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, since 1983.

Survivors include her husband, Max, of the home; two sons, Ron and wife Marilyn and John and wife Jennifer, all of Salina; a daughter, Carol McWhorter and husband Greg of Shawnee; two brothers, Jerry Weis and wife Vernia of Blue Rapids and Perry Weis and wife Janet of Lyons; a sister, Georgia Lee Kepple and husband Merle of Tescott; her grandchildren, Lean, Tana, Andy, Sam, Alicia, Collin, Carly, Emily and Zach; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel and Tailynn.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, Salina. Burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Cross Angel Academy.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
