Mr. Roark was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Gypsum, Kan., to Frank Nathaniel and Bessie Myrtle Roark. He was a telephone lineman and installer for Southwestern Bell Telephone.

Survivors include four brothers, Louis A. of Wamego, Kan., J.D. and wife Marie of Albuquerque, Jess and wife Tosie of Topeka and Keith and wife Peggy of Wichita; and a sister, Irene Eberhart of Ellensburg, Wash.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, in Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum, Kan.
