FARLINGTON — Jared John-Patrick (Gregoire) Savage, 35, Farlington, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005. Mr. Savage was born Sept. 18, 1969, in Salina. He was an instructional design specialist for Greenbush Southeast Kansas Education Service Center, Girard. He held a B.A. in history and a B.S. in education from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in English from Fort Hays State University and was working on completion of his doctorate in education. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1995 to 2005, serving as a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief and as a public affairs liaison. He married Tamara Dawn Morrison on Aug. 12, 1995, in Old Mill Park, Lindsborg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nita Gregoire. Survivors include his wife, Tammy; a daughter, Ashley Marie Lloyd of Girard; his father, John Leo Gregoire of Salina; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Brunsell of Lindsborg; and two brothers, Matthew Coleman Gregoire and wife Linda of Manhattan and Mitchell Lee Gregoire of Rhode Island. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, the Rev. John Pehrson officiating. Memorials may be made to Jared Savage Greenbush Scholarship Fund, in care of the mortuary. |
