Mr. Schuber was born July 13, 1917, in Tampa. He was a general maintenance worker for the cities of Salina and Herington, retiring in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Salina; six daughters, Patty Farmer of Brookville, Debbie Shephard of Abilene, Barb Moore of Morton, Ill., Anita Morse and Judy Reagan, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Kathy Fritts of Mountain City, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sunset Cemetery, Herington.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

There will be no visitation.
