Mrs. Smith was born Clara Eugene Ewalt on Nov. 27, 1918, in Great Bend. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin Harvey; her second husband, Leo Davies; and her third husband, Herbert Smith.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Summers and husband Thomas of Salina; a sister, Julia Bruce of Santa Fe, N.M.; three grandchildren, Ronald D. Summers and wife Mary of Olathe, and Karen S. Couch and husband Danny and Diane K. Cobb and husband Jeff, all of Salina; 14 great-grandchildren, Shawn, Bret, Sara, Monica, Thomas and Paul Summers, Joshua, Erika and Rachelle Keller, Leslie Toney, David Miller, Crystal Ellyson, Haley Streit and Jeffrey Cobb Jr.; and four great-great-grandchildren, Brett Summers Jr., Dominic and Ryan Toney and Katelin Keller.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of Christ, Salina, Jimmie Keas officiating. Entombment will be in Great Bend Cemetery.
