Mrs. Smith was born Kim Elizabeth Cranston on Feb. 12, 1958, in Nantucket, Mass.

Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Parks of Waynesville, Mo., Melissa Parks of Salina, and Emily and Taylor Smith of Colony; two sons, Zachary Smith of Salina and Cory Smith of Colony; her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Cranston of Ellsworth; three brothers, David Cranston and Kevin Cranston, both of Ellsworth, and Jeff Cranston of Houston; two sisters, Barbara Willson of Wilson and Karen Bartone of Great Bend; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, Salina.
