Mrs. Solbach was born Agnes J. Rusch on March 22, 1913 in rural Russell County to her parents William and Ella Burns Rusch. Her mother passed away shortly after from complications due to childbirth. She was raised by her father and her aunt, Mary Rusch. She was a homemaker.

She married Leo A. Solbach on August 20, 1935, in Russell, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo A. Solbach in 2001 and her son, Clair Leo Solbach, Jr. in 2002.

She is survived by more than 200 nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N. 9th, Salina. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Russell.

A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
