Miss Torres was born April 19, 1987, in Los Angeles. She was a senior at Salina South High School.

Survivors include her parents, Juan and Irene Torres of Salina; four brothers, George, Juan, William and Gerardo, all of Salina; two sisters, Guadalupe Solis and Blanca Torres, both of Salina; her grandparents, Maria Consuelo Martinez Guerrero, and Lidia Ortega and Agustin Murillo-Guadalajara, all of Mexico.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.

A rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the cathedral.
