Mr. Voeltz was born Aug. 23, 1927, near Ellsworth. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Manilla Ann Voeltz, in 1951.

Survivors include his wife, Sally P., of the home; a son, Russell of Ellsworth; two daughters, Christal Bailey of Lebanon, Mo., and Lisa Voeltz of Salina; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, near Ellsworth.

Memorials may be made to Lutheran Laymen's League, St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Holyrood or Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation.
