Mr. Yost was born June 10, 1907, in rural Ottawa County. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rita Rae Yost.

Survivors include his wife, Irene G., of Minneapolis; a son, Jim Yost and wife Dorothy of Culver; two grandchildren, Theresa Elder and husband Brian of Denver and Mike Yost and wife Carla of Salina; and four great-grandchildren, Anthony and Angela Elder of Denver and Cody and Connor Yost of Salina.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Culver United Methodist Church, Pastor Jeff Slater officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery, rural Culver.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
