Mrs. Anslover was born Sara Alice Ellenberger on May 9, 1922, at Hoxie, to Rush and Pearl (Bloomheart) Ellenberger. She was the office manager for the Saline County K-State Research and Extension office. She was a member of University United Methodist Church, Lady Elks and Order of the Eastern Star. She married John Anslover on Dec. 24, 1946, at Beverly.

Survivors include her husband, John, of the home; two sons, John W. “Jack” Anslover and wife Cathy of Salina and James R. “Jim” Anslover and wife Lauri of Omaha, Neb.; and five grandchildren, Nicole Anslover of Lawrence, John E. “Jed” Anslover, Rachel Anslover and Andrew “Drew” Anslover, all of Salina, and Shannon Anslover of North Platte, Neb.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at University United Methodist Church, Salina, the Rev. David Bolz officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Beverly Cemetery, Beverly.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
