Mr. Coburn was born Sept. 30, 1930, in Salina. He was a carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include his wife, Nathalie, of the home; four sons, Steve and Doug of Salina, and Jim and wife Barb and Mike and wife Gaye, all of Wichita; a daughter, Brenda Potts and husband Dean of Maple Grove, Minn.; and seven grandchildren, Melody Harries, Adam Potts, Sean Coburn, Breanna Coburn, Cara Coburn, Adriane Coburn and Trevor Potts.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Belmont Church of the Nazarene, Belmont and Highland, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, with military honors by VFW Post 1432, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church.
