Mrs. Dearing was born Lois Maxine Poschen on June 13, 1932, in Pratt. She was a restaurant waitress.

Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Dearing, of the home; four sons, Robert Pence of Ogdon, James Pence of Salina, Bill Pence of Alta Vista, and Tim Pence of St. Louis, Mo.; five daughters, Charlene Zelenka and Dawn Dearing, both of Wilson, Jackie Martinez of Minneapolis, Sandy Adams of Herington, and Vickie Humphries of Salina; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

The will be no visitation.
