Mr. Delgado was born Santos Delgado on Nov. 1, 1917, in Gypa Victoria Meopui Chih, Mexico. He was a farmer.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral and Adoracion Nochturna Mexicana.

Survivors include his wife, Elisa Salgado De Delgado, of the home; four sons, Saul Delgado, Noel Delgado, Emiliano Delgado and Santos Delgado Jr., all of Salina; three daughters, Manuela Garcia, Maria L. Bonilla and Maria C. Reveles, all of Salina; a brother, Agustin Delgado of Mexico; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 3701 E. Crawford, Salina.

A vigil and rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice of Salina.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, and 8 p.m. Sunday until service time Monday at the church.
