Mrs. Garret was born June F. Cunningham on June 26, 1916 at Fremont, Nebraska. She worked as a manager with the Kansas Dept. of S.R.S. for 39 years, retiring in 1986.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dean Garrett in 1995.

Survivors include a son, William Garrett and wife Margaret of Lenexa and three grandchildren, Katie Mudge and Amanda and Trish Garrett.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. The casket will be closed.
