Mrs. Gerstner was born Geneveve A. Gustafson on Jan. 17, 1920, in Smolan. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F., in 2002; two sisters, Dorothy Olson and Helen Ikerd; and two brothers, Gordon Gustafson and Clifford Gustafson.

Survivors include a brother, Ernest Gustafson of Smolan; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
